We are Lithouse. We build wooden houses.
What data we collect
When we communicate via website-forms or email with prospects or clients, we collect the contents and meta-data of the forms and emails. We hardly ever communicate via old-fashioned paper-mail and we try to avoid using platforms such as WhatsApp and Viber.
How long we retain your data
The data we collect is retained indefinitely. We have no data purging mechanism.
Where we store your data
All our data is stored on three servers: one email server which is hosted externally in Germany, one data server which is hosted in our office in Lithuania, and one backup server, also in our office in Lithuania.
We do not use any external services for the hosting or processing of data.
Media
If we build a house for you, we take photos during the construction process. These photos we may use on our website to showcase recent projects. We will remove from these photos and the accompanying text any reference to identifiable names, addresses or geo-locations.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
As a principle, we do not share your data with anyone. We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use cloud-services such as Google, Amazon, Azure or similar systems.
For the purpose of preparing technical drawings and offers, we may need to share information about your project with sub-suppliers. We try to share as little information as possible, and on a need-to-know basis only.
