ChatGPT

With AI and ChatGPT being all the rage, we thought maybe we could quickly write some articles for our website. Just feed some keyword to the robot and bingo: a nice text.

So we fed the following into the robot: “the advantages of a damp-open wall construction”.

And yes, in three second we got the following paragraph:

Damp-open wall construction has some serious advantages. For one, it’s a great way to keep your walls looking fresh and fabulous. It also helps keep moisture out, which is great for preventing mold and mildew. And, if you’re looking to save money on your energy bills, damp-open wall construction can help with that too. Plus, it’s super easy to maintain, so you don’t have to worry about spending too much time or money on upkeep.

The English no doubt is perfect, the sentences makes sense, but other than that: the robot completely misses the point except maybe for “save money on your energy bills”. It has nothing to do with walls looking fresh and fabulous nor with easy maintenance. Oh wait… now that we think of it: with a damp-open construction you don’t need to maintain a complicated ventilation system, that is correct. So maybe the robot is right after all then?

Anyway, in case you worry: no, our texts are not produced by ChatGPT or any other robot, we write ourselves.
