Wood prices

A short update on this article on wood prices that we wrote about five years ago. At that time some experts wrote that prices would not return to the old 300-350 US$ level and would stick around 500 US$.

And these experts were correct!

The increase is not much higher than general inflation, so we can say the situation has more or less normalized.

For some specific product groups the prices in the shop / building market are still a little on the high side. A matter of time, we think…
